William Wilson Clothing regularly sponsors various non-profit events, participates in gala events and serves on non-profit boards. In 2010, William Wilson Clothing hosted its first charity golf event, The William Wilson Celebrity Weekend, which raised money for Autism Speaks.

William Wilson, is a member of the Arkansas Alumni Association, and was integral in establishing a scholarship, which allows a fortunate student from the Charlotte area to attend The University of Arkansas.
